How to Choose the Perfect Wedding Photographer
Published: April 10, 2012
We sat down recently with Bill Waldorf of Waldorf Photographic Art to chat a bit about photography in the wedding industry. Bill has a wealth of knowledge and advice for brides, but we especially enjoyed his pointers on how to choose your wedding photographer wisely. Learn his three top tips below!

1. Make sure the photographer’s style touches you.
Do you like detail shots? Are you really into classic poses or modern looks? Choose a photographer who reflects your style and vision for your wedding. This ensures you receive heirlooms…not just photos!
2. Don’t sign a contract if the chemistry isn’t there.
Would you be able to relax around this person on possibly the most stressful day of your life? Your photographer will be one of the closest individuals to you throughout the day. Make sure he or she is unobtrusive and puts you at ease.
3. Choose a photographer who can work within your budget.
Your photographer is arguably one of the most important investments you can make for your wedding day. Allocate the necessary amount of your budget to reflect this, and find a photographer who can work within that range.

Waldorf Photographic Art boasts a classic, timeless style that captures the realism and emotion of each moment as events unfold naturally throughout the day. Bill began his artistic journey back in 1980 and has since perfected this style in locations across the country and even internationally. His expertise is vast, and we’ve fallen head-over-heels in love with his style since he began doing weddings in 2006!
Both Bill and his assistants focus on being unobtrusive on the day of the wedding, and each recognizes the importance of providing a stress-free interaction throughout the entire planning process. As far as budgets go, Waldorf offers many packages to fit a variety of ranges depending on the couple’s wants and needs, and the company has even expanded to offer fabulous videography…Waldorf Cinema!
One thing is certain: your memories are safe with Waldorf Photographic Art. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder – or the lens of a camera, in this case!
